My stitching was abruptly halted when I sliced a thin section of my index finger off while using a rotary cutter. I was diligently working on a quilt (that I started about two years ago) when my hand slipped and left a section of skin on my cutting board. Gross and Ouch! So much for trying to get some of my many quilts tops completed. In all the years that I have been quilting I only cut myself like this one other time (about 6 yrs ago). Just after doing that I purchased a Klutz quilters glove, which I never used...until today that is.
Here are just a few of the many blocks that I have completed:
Easy Diamonds Pattern
Construction of this quilt is fast and easy. You quilt the blocks as you construct them and then you seam the blocks in rows.
Last Saturday we stopped at one of our favorite consignment shops where I found this little gem:
How cute is that? It is like a little bank, a button bank; just slip your buttons into the small opening on the top. I tried to find information about it online but was unsuccessful. It has "Made in England ~ Fine Bone China" stamped on the bottom. VERY CUTE!
Thinking that I could make a pincushion, I picked up the tiny red ceramic dish as well:
We left the shop and ended up at an estate sale where I scooped up these great finds:

Why Do I Love Vermont?
Because when you attend a small town craft fair, not only do you get to shop for some nice crafts, you get to enjoy the vendors "PETS" ~ Yes, these are pets, and that pig actually sleeps in the owner's bed at night!
