HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY !
My DH has been in Germany all week and is expected to return
tomorrow. I guess that will really depend on how storm PAX affects travel in
the Northeast. He ordered flowers to be delivered tomorrow
but due to the storm FedEx has been making early deliveries and dropped these
beautiful roses off this morning.
I am still attending my photo lessons and decided
to do a little practicing. I like taking pictures that have a blurred background...
And I like to try and capture detail, so I photographed the snowflakes falling...
I snapped this picture, adjusting the camera setting each time. Can you see what is happening?
Although the birdhouse remains in focus, the background gets blurrier. Pretty cool.
I decided to pull a much neglected project out of my WIPs and have made some progress. Here is a peek...
Thanks for stopping by ~ Have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
Until next time remember....

Have a super weekend Marie! I love your roses :) Your hubby is a keeper!
What a perfect Valentine's gift from your husband--so glad it got there in spite of the storms! Hope he gets home without any delays--I'm sure you'll be happy to see him on Valentine's Day, Marie...
Enjoy your photography classes--your photos and your stitching are looking great!
Oh, such wonderful roses from your husband. And if you're lucky he won't be delayed and be home real soon.
Great stitching that you pulled out. It's always fun to get back to a neglected piece, isn't it?
Beautiful roses! It's cool seeing your photography progress too. Your WIP is looking great. Hope your Hubby made it home without too much delay!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Beautiful roses. Loving seeing your photography skills progress. Great shots.
The roses are gorgeous, and your pictures look great, nice job with the various effects. Really like your WIP piece, the Quaker inspired designs are so different.

Love the photo practice. I need to practice more. There's just so little time it seems for all that I want to learn and do...
