Can you tell that I really like these Foxwood Crossings sled ornaments? It was completed in time for this months 2015 Smalls SAL

My next finish could also qualify for the Smalls SAL.  This is the HOE Halloween exchange Treat Bag that I made for Michelle B.

Stitched for: Michelle B.

Much of my free time this past month was spent knitting. I made the mistake of spending too much time on Ravelry.com where I spotted (and purchased) the pattern for this lovely…

Pattern: Deephaven

Having spent time at Webs Yarn purchasing an abundance of yarn, I needed to figure out what to make.  Given my limited knitting skills I gravitate to scarf patterns. This one has an especially nice cable design.

I completed the blocking so all that is left is to seam the ends.  A second one has already been started.

Sign ups for the HOE Autumn Exchange close at midnight tonight (9/30). If you are interested in participating details can be found HERE.

Thanks for stopping by…
Until next time…

I love cardinals and snowmen - very cute! Beautiful knitting, too! I've been looking through
scarf and shawl patterns, too because I've been itching to start a new knitting project. Now the hard part, choosing which one to start with!

Your ornament is adorable as is the Halloween Treat Bag! Your stitching and finishing is superb.

IT looks like your knitting skills are quite advanced - lovely scarf. So far, I've avoided being drawn into Ravelry, but I've heard fabulous things about their ideas.

Each and every finish is so wonderful, Marie! I do love the little bag of treats especially and that scarf is gorgeous. I wouldn't say you have limited knitting skills by looking at that gorgeous finish :)

Hope your October is off to a great start!

That little sled is adorable! And such a great 'finishing' idea for Christmas.

I love the Halloween pieces you stitched and received for the exchange. Everyone is so talented. (Especially you ladies who sew!)

Ah, Ravelry can take over your time for sure. So many lovely designs and projects to knit or crochet :)
