First up: Gifted Gorgeousness SAL ~ Jan. check in.
I decided to continue my participation in the Gifted Gorgeousness SAL for 2016. I found it extremely helpful in motivating me to finish what I start!
Here is my progress on Black Horse Inn, which I began in August 2015.
Much of my time was spent on this section…
Next: Our California Travels
Bixby Bridge, found along the stretch of Big Sur…
Frightening cliffs…
A short stop in Cayucose, CA to check out Brown Butter Cookie Company…
Where we watched busy workers making cookies…
Not sure that woman in the back appreciates having her picture taken. She appears to be giving me the stink eye. I did ask first and was given the "A Okay" to take pictures.
It all looked so delicious…
The cookies are soooooo GOOD!
Another PCH breath taking view…
And finally a stop in Pismo Beach, CA for the evening, which is where I will pick up in my next post.
Thanks for stopping by…
Until next time…
Until next time…

Thanks for sharing all of your photos - those cookies look soooo good!
I laughed right out loud at your comment about the girl giving you the "stink eye" - too funny!!!
That California coast is gorgeous, isn't it?
What a beautiful trip. I'd love to do that some day. Can't wait to see the rest of your photos! BHI is looking good.
Gorgeous views from the California coastline, Marie--I really need to make that journey some day! Great work on your WIP--it is really coming together now that the house is all done :)
Your BHI is going to be fabulous! It's really coming along!
Love your pictures of California - so scenic! And I love the sunshine and what looks to be warm weather!
What a great way to spend the holiday. Lol Yes, she does seem to be giving you the stink eye.
I have never been to SF, but would love to go one day. Still hoping they will build a bullet train track between LA and SF!!
Great pictures from your trip. It must have been gorgeous. We also travelled the Pacific coast but from Washington state down to San Francisco. Some of your pictures remind me of that trip.
Wow, visiting a cookie factory must be a real treat.
Great progress on your GG piece.
What a gorgeous WIP!!!! Great progress!!!
You are making great progress on your WIP! I am from California, but we never had a car, so I enjoy seeing other people's pictures of my state! Thanks for sharing with us!
I love Black horse inn, who is the designer, may I ask? Your California roadtrip looks fantastic - wonderful photos and yes, that woman in the back does not look pleased at all! lol! Yummy looking cookies, though.
Oops. Somehow I missed commenting on this post! Thanks for taking part in GG in January. I love all the little horse and the giant plant pot!
I've worked out why I missed this post on the 15th - you didn't link up in January! I have added you now so you get the credit for the month :-)
