OOPS, I Did It Again!

Designer: Jardin Prive

Need I say more ~ Would you believe that I pressed "ADD TO CART" a mere 20 minutes after posting my last post! Really now, how could I resist?

I am convinced that the Dave Barry quote, found on Julie's blog, is true:

"There is a fine line between hobby and mental illness"

I must thank Jeanne whose post could not have made it easier for me to purchase My Lady's Quaker, thanks Jeanne!

It was comforting to read all of your comments to my Ambitious or Absurd post and as Gabi stated, we are not absurd we are merely "ambitious collectors" ~ sounds good to me.

To justify my many purchases I shall share with you a picture of my most recent finish:

OOPS...battery died, no pictures today! (and that's the truth)

Until next time...

Hi Marie,

Oh, that's a nice one. I've been resisting pressing the buy button for it. If you'd like to sell or trade it after you're done, I'm game :) I hope you enjoy stitching it. It looks like a fun piece.

You'll be adding to cart the gentleman too, I bet :)

HA! I ordered this too although i wasn't as quick on the gun as you - I think I made my no stash buying resolution two weeks ago! But isn't it a great piece!

Love that quote about hobby and mental illness - I think I've definitely crossed into the mental illness side, for sure! Enjoy your lovely new pattern! :)

Well, you are among good company, because I added it to my stash too, Marie!! Can't wait to see your latest finish!!

Don't feel bad Marie. Every time I tell my self no more stash, I think of something I just have to have and order it. Like today I ordered a half yard of Autumn Field Lugana and the PS Trick or Treat leaflet. I guess you got to have the fabric to stitch the charts and heck it was only one pattern.......

Always glad to be an enabler Marie! I have to go back now and buy the Gentleman Quaker who wasn't out there when I bought the Lady. It never ends! And did you see that Kathy B-D has posted block one of her new Christmas in Hawk Run Hollow on her blog - oh NO!!!! We need to be on that intervention reality show LOL.
