She Was Too Busy ?????????

I recently learned from the moderator of the Prairie Schooler Fans, that my partner in the PS Halloween Exchange failed to send me an exchange piece because she was "too busy" ~ I am wondering how busy she must be that she could not even acknowledge or thank me for the exchange that I sent her. Fortunately, I am not too busy to post this:

As one person stated on the Prairie Schooler Fans Board: May you constantly be reminded of your poor behavior each time you look at the exchange piece that I sent you.

I honestly understand that things happen in a person's life and sometimes people are unable to meet an obligation. If you have a legitimate reason (and let's face it "too busy" is not an excuse) please just email the individual and let them know.

A number of people commented on my earlier post regarding MIA Stitchers stating that we should name names...I am naming names in hopes that people think twice about slighting another person and going MIA. For all the trustworthy stitchers and wonderful exchange group moderators, I hope this is of assistance to you ~ be on the lookout.

Maybe you should have posted a link to her blog so comments could be left there too?

My first RR, together with 2 others, went missing with one person. At first I gave her the benefit of the doubt, she was in the military and I thought maybe she was injured or worse but .. no .. she is still an active member on the HDF forum and there's still no sign of the missing RRs. Luckily the group all re-stitched and we all received back a beautifully finished RR!

I am so glad you posted this! Having had a round robin go missing and more than one exchange go bad, it sucks. And she didn't seem a bit bothered when she kept the piece you sent her. That's completely rude. Sorry this happened.

What an impossible behaviour is that..thank goodness it doesn´t happen tooooo often, otherwise we all would have lost our exchanging mood...and as you know exchanging could be sooo great.

Give you a hug,
Gaby

Sweet Marie, I'm so sorry. I understand as I've had more than a few missing things happen to me too. And all the lovely and hard work you put into things.

Shamey, shamey, shame on you Karen Krieg.

I moderate the Lizzie Kate exchange and think this is a wonderful thing to do. I HATE when someone signs up and does an MIA, it's just not fair to anyone. If you could post a blog link as well?, then we could all create a "bad traders" list and keep our groups full of wonderful stitchers. And I know exactly about life getting in the way sometimes but I've never not sent a commitment.

Way to go....she could at least mailed your piece back if she didn't have time to complete.

I like your sign and find it particularly effective. Now if there was a link on the sign to the person's blog ;)...I've been on the non-receiving end and also been burned in round robin...:(.

Kudos to you!

I feel the same, I haven't heard from my exchange partner since the day we exchanged addresses and I faithfully sent her my ornament.
I even sent mine priority, still no response.....
Makes joining a swap hard.
I am sure what you made her was fantastic just by reading your blog!!!
Hugs,
